About Me

My photo
Hello to family and friends! I have decided to start blogging so that everyone can see what is going on here in NC. As you all know, I am married to a wonderful man Josh and we have three beautiful children Tyler, Alexis, and Jacen. I am a very proud wife and mother to my family and I wouldnt change it for anything in the world. We currently live 1,000 miles away from our family and friends that were in our lives each and everyday and plan on being here for another 4 years but soon enough we will be reunited with them and that will be an amazing day! We miss everyone so much. But until then, keep up with our blog to find out what goes on in our world down here :)

Tyler's Girlfriend

Last July, we went down to Arkansas to visit Josh's family for a few days and got to meet Hannah (Phillip's gf). From the second Hannah walked into Phils house and Tyler laid his ocean blue eyes on her, it was love at first sight. He won't stop talking about her and swears he will one day, win her over (Phil, you don't stand a chance).

She has him wrapped!

Check out this video of Daddy and Alexis during bathtime and see if you can figure out what she is saying. Its the cutest thing ever! She is truly a daddy's girl! :)

New Puppy (Ted)

Guess what?! I finally have my puppy! We got him yesterday early afternoon and then took him for his grooming and he looks adorable! His name is Ted and he is a yorkie. Purebred! I have been wanting one for years and its finally came thanks to Daddy! We are going this weekend to go get him some toys and collar and all that pretty stuff! The kids love him and are doing really great. Havent hurt him yet. I'm just waiting for Tyler to try and wrestle or something. He took a little while to warm up to daddy though. I think its because he makes fun of me having such a small "not even a dog" as he likes to say, lol. But secretely he loves him and now they are getting along. Oh and guess what?! Josh said that I could dress him up! But only in jersey's of sports teams. But I will take it! He is going to be so cute! Going to go everywhere with us just like he was another boy in the family. Yay! Cant wait for you guys to meet him!

Pictures

So we went to Sears last night and got Alexis' 1st Birthday pictures done and she did amazing! She is such a little princess and girly girl its just too cute! We also got some family ones done and they turned out really good. I did try and email them to everyone but if I missed you just let me know. (Sorry) And just remember that I have the CD and copyright so I can go to walmart and get them printed out for you a lot cheaper then you ordering them online. Email me what pictures and the sizes and I will get them sent to you. But remember that I need the money before hand and it can be sent through western union or walmart! Enjoy! :)

Happy 1st Birthday Princess

Yesterday was her actual birthday but we celebrated today with a lil party with cake, ice cream, and presents! She loved her cake so much! Ate most all of it. I know that you're sad that you werent able to make it but maybe next year. She has lots of birthdays ahead of her that you can all come to. I just cant believe she is already one! It was a year ago that she was born and just a short time later that daddy had to leave for Iraq. I never thought this day would come looking back. We didnt think daddy would be home right now but thankfully he is and he did get to see his lil girl turn one! Although he says its just a number and she wont ever remember! I will! But anyways, here are some pictures of her party and we hope to see you next year!
P.S. Going to get pictures done at sears this afternoon. Will let you know how it goes and when they will be ready to send out!

Big Boy Haircut

So yesterday we took Tyler to get his haircut. No big deal right?! WRONG! It wasnt one like all the others. You know, keeping his baby hair...? Nope. Its gone! He is no longer a baby anymore but now is a BIG boy! Yeah I agreed with Josh that he can get a boy haircut. At first he wanted to do a military one and I said there was no way! But Tyler did really good like always but mommy on the other hand teared up a lil. I held it back and not one rolled down my cheek but come on, my baby wasnt a baby anymore! LOL. But he did good and got a sucker afterwards! YAY. Oh! And the first thing that he wanted to do was show Aunt Tonya how handsome he was! It was sooo cute!

End of the Year 2009

December has been a crazy month. We had birthdays, a homecoming, a new home, and Christmas! It has all been tons of fun but also "go here go there" from day one so it is nice to finally be able to relax. The kids and I moved into our new home on December 4th, my 21st birthday, with the help of my dad, father-n-law Bob, and brother-n-law David. Things were crazy from the start! Had all sorts of unpacking to do and then Daddy was coming home that night at 1am from his first tour in Iraq. It was an amazing birthday and homecoming for all of us! Next came Joshs' 21st Birthday on December 17th and Tyler, Alexis, and Mommy made him a cake and had a steak dinner! Yummm! Then came Christmas and Tyler was very happy that Santa brought him lots of presents under the tree! His favorite was the tent! (Thanks to Ma Ma Charlotte :) We had a great dinner, that Mommy made, and invited over one of Daddy's buddies from work that was unable to make it back home for the holidays. It was a really great day! Things are starting to slow down now which feels good but soon a new year will be here and then Alexis' 1st Birthday on the 8th! Woo-hooo!
