About Me

My photo
Hello to family and friends! I have decided to start blogging so that everyone can see what is going on here in NC. As you all know, I am married to a wonderful man Josh and we have three beautiful children Tyler, Alexis, and Jacen. I am a very proud wife and mother to my family and I wouldnt change it for anything in the world. We currently live 1,000 miles away from our family and friends that were in our lives each and everyday and plan on being here for another 4 years but soon enough we will be reunited with them and that will be an amazing day! We miss everyone so much. But until then, keep up with our blog to find out what goes on in our world down here :)

Yesterday we went outside and played with our new sprinkler in the front yard! Sissy didnt like it too much but she had fun and Tyler like squirting himself or the sidewalk with water. It was a hot day and a nice day to have some fun in the sun :)

Brother & Sister LOVE

There is nothing more that this mommy loves then to see her beautiful children loving and playing together. It brings a huge smile to my face! :) I can be so tired and drained but as soon as they laugh together I am awake and laughing with them. Tyler is such a great big brother and is always watching over his lil sister. Alexis looks up to him already and wants to do everything he does....I LOVE IT! I cant wait to add another beautiful child to this family and see how my lil Princess does not being the littlest anymore. I couldnt ask for anything more. Mommy is very happy! :)

Pretty in Pink

Alexis is such a lil princess. She loves to dress up and wear mommy's makeup but on this day she decided to get her necklace, sunglasses and phone and show off! She was loving on daddy and smiling for the camera...so cute! She is going to be a heartbreaker with those boys! :)

Lets go to the Beach :)

It was our first time at the beach this year at the end of July and it was pretty humid but the ocean breeze kept it from being over-bearing. We all got some sun even after mommy put sunscreen on everyone but we had a lot of fun! Tyler loved the ocean and picking up seashells and rocks. Alexis loved playing in the sand and getting mommy all sticky. We got some great pictures and had lots of fun so enjoy!

Last day in MO and PaPa Bob's Birthday

July 17th was PaPa Bob's 49th Birthday and also the last day that we were in MO. Aunt Debbie, Jess, Nathan, Uncle Rick, Kylie, Carrey, Gma Moore, and Gma Burleyson were the one's who came and celebrated with us! We had a bbq and played outside in the pool, colored with Maw Maw Joann and took lots of pictures! Thank you for all the memories and we will see you all again :)

Remembering Michael Patton

In 2008 one of Josh's friends did not make it back from Afghanistan. When we went back home this year we made our way to go see him and his family. Driving through that cemetery was so heartfelt and emotional just knowing that so many men and women have sacrificed thier lives for us to be free. Michael, you are a great man and it was a pleasure to know you. We miss you and will see you again! :)

Chuck E Cheese

Right before we went home we decided that we needed to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese with our thier friend and ours! Zech and Monique are a young couple, with a daughter Avery, like us which is really nice to have. Zech and Josh have been friends for a very long time! The kids had a great time and Daddy's too :) We won lots of tickets and great prizes! Cant wait to move back and be able to spend a lot of time hanging out with them! We miss you guys :)

Visiting aunt julie, uncle steve, and wally

After the zoo we went and visited with with some more family. The kids played outside on the swing set while the adults kept the conversation going. It was nice to visit them because they have done so much for us, like everyone has, and we dont get to see them very often. It was great to see you guys! The pics turned out great :)

St. Louis Zoo

We took a trip to the Zoo when we were back in MO and it was sooo hot! Tyler and Alexis loved seeing all the animals, especially the elephants and snakes :) It was a great time and will do it again next time we are in. Thanks for coming with us Kylee, Nolan, and Gma Charlotte! Enjoy the pics

Music time with great gma Moore

The other day while everyone was gone or outside playing, Alexis decided that she was going to play her harmonica that great gma got her and we loved it! She made us laugh to tears :) She played for about a half hour and it was so much fun. Thank you gma for the memories we love you!

Visiting Papa Denny

We went down with Aunt Tonya to surprise Papa Denny and Gma Debbie at their house on Thursday and they were SURPRISED! We ate barbeque for dinner and had ice cream afterwards. Played outside until it rained and papa gave Tyler a Cardinals hat! It was a great time...cant wait to see them again!

Simming at Maw Maw Charlotte's

After we got back from our sweet treat we decided to go swimming at Maw Maw's. We have decided that we are getting a pool when we get out of the Marine Corps lol. Its so nice and the kids absolutely love it! Enjoy the pictures :)
